Central Government staff of India has been eagerly waiting to know whether the recommendations by 7th Pay Commission will be approved by Cabinet. On Wednesday, 29 June 2016 according to 7th Pay Commission latest news reports approval was given by Cabinet.
NDA ruling Central Govt under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given approval to give a 16% hike in Basic pay. With this recent increase in Central govt pay scales, there will be equal demand from other public, state govt sectors.
7th Pay Salary scales hike was approved by Central Govt with immediate effect from salaries of January 2016. Around 1 crore staff, pensioners in Central government will get benefit from the hike in pay scales, pensions. Cabinet approval of salary scales hike was announced on 29-6-2016.
There will be a total of 23.55% hike in salary out of which 16% will be in basic pay scale. Minimum salary scale of all Govt staff in India has increased after approval to recommendations.
Central Government Employees will get about 3 times their old pay scale. With the hike in salaries , govt staff will be get good remuneration. More people will continue to search for employment opportunities in Government departments.
Highest Salary Pay scale of Indian Central Government staff is Rs. 2,50,000 per month for cabinet secretary. Rs. 2,25,000 per month will be given for apex scale employees. The earlier pay scale of the above ones was just Rs.90000 and the new pay revisions is impressive.

Minimum salary scale will be Rs. 18,000 per month for all Central govt staff, while old minimum pay scale was just Rs. 7,000.
Money required for giving Rs.73650 crore of pay revision will be taken from general budget. Rs. 28450 crore will Bbe taken from Indian railways revenue.
7th Pay Commission Latest News is that salary revision as per 7th CPC will be implemented from 1 January 2016 (1-1-2016). Narendra Modi Government decided to approve most of the recommendations by Commission.
