Setting a foot out in that kind of heat is an impossible task. Indulging in sports activities in Dubai’s scorching heat is the worst decision that one can ever take. On the other hand, the people of Dubai, as we know them, are health conscious and love a little sport in their lives. So, here’s an idea, why don’t we take our sports activities indoors until the weather cools down?

United Pro Sports Club

This complex has an indoor arrangement for indulging you with all your favourite sports activities. The club organises summer camps and welcome all ages. It hosts its own events, as well. Dubai Sports World, not only gives you a platform to have fun and stay fit but it is also an opportunity to meet new people who share similar interest towards the sport of your choice. Their sports arenas are in a huge hall, divided by fences and nets. All you need to do for inspiration is look around. They have different rates depending on their timings and days of the week. Sunday to Thursday from 6:00pm to 11:00pm (regular peek hours) and Friday and Saturday, 8:00am to 12:00 midnight (regular peek hours), ping pong, badminton, running and gymnasium are free of cost!

Yet another well facilitated indoor sports club, which allows sports players to partake in sports activities of their choice. This club is one of the rarest indoor arena that has a hockey field and offers coaching sessions for the same. Similar to most other clubs, InSportz also hosts its own tournaments and summer camps. Although it is slightly over-priced, the quality of their service makes up for the money that is spent. The club also rents areas and the bowling alley for birthday parties.

Hamdan Sports Complex

A government owned entity; Hamdan Sports Complex is one of the biggest multi-purpose facilities in the world. It has arrangements for both, outdoor and indoor water and land sports. The complex connects with the Al Qudra Road Cycle Path. It hosts a series of water and land related sports events. They also accommodate karate championships, concerts, international exhibitions and conventions. They have a 10 lane Olympic sized swimming pool in a stadium with a seating capacity of 15, 000 spectators.

Here is something we haven’t covered yet, horse riding. There aren’t very many indoor, air- conditioned horse-riding pavilions in Dubai. Hoofbeatz just happens to be one. Now, you don’t have to pull the rein on your horse-riding schedule to avoid the heat. Their general charges are Dhs175 per person for group sessions. They even host events based on horse riding. Horse riders can also become members of the horsemanship club. There is a lot more to take from Hoofbeatz apart from horse riding, such as, harmony amongst humans and horses, playing as a team, responsibility and entertainment skills.
