Balakrishna’s upcoming film Gautamiputra Satakarni is directed by Krish!! Makers are canning the shooting sequences in a rapid speed. What is the reason behind this ?? Is it to fulfill Balakrishna’s sentiment? We all know that Balakrishna used to release his films on the occasion of Pongal.

But, everybody thinks that it is impossible to complete the film within Pongal. But if you observe the strategy of the makers, you will be surely surprised!!

The 3rd schedule begins from July 4th onwards. The makers will shoot the sequences in Georgia. They are going to shoot the war sequences between Satavahana soldiers and Greek Soldiers. This fight will happen at Mount Kaj Beg in Russia. Balakrishna will join the sets soon. It looks like a climax sequence.

Already, the makers have shot the fighting sequences, so it might be the war sequences which will occur during the interval. They shot a sequence on ships in Hyderabad !! So, it might be an introduction scene. Major parts were completed. Only the scenes that belong to the Kingdom is left for the makers.

So, they will definitely complete picture as soon as possible and will release the film in January 2017. Makers wanted to wrap up the shooting as early as possible for VFX works.

One can only imagine the untrammelled delight of the dental surgeon and mother of two, Jennifer Bate, partner of the British tennis player Marcus Willis, when she caught the eye of the BBC commentator Andrew Castle during Willis’s match against Roger Federer. “It’s a pity my dentist doesn’t look like that,” commented Castle, later batting away tweeted criticism of his “creepy” remark as something he might expect from people who were “humourless, earnest and no fun at all”.

One could almost imagine Castle feeling rather pleased with how he’d handled the situation. After all, he hadn’t yelled “Phwoar!” at Bate or anything ghastly like that. (He wasn’t a football fan, was he?) Where was the harm in gallantly acknowledging publicly, from a BBC commentary box, the attractiveness of a young woman (a former beauty pageant contestant after all – some time ago, and completely irrelevant, but what does that matter?). He was supposed to be doing the job he was paid for – delivering an expert report on two male tennis professionals. But what’s “creepy” about that?

A whole, hard-won professional life was reframed as the formulation ‘She’s a looker’

Where to begin? No one is claiming that Castle’s remark was anything more than pathetic and grotty. If sexism were a universe, which unfortunately it kind of is, Castle’s remark would merely amount to one of those insignificant bits of debris that are sometimes sighted in space – say, half a hinge or a bent piece of aerial that have broken off a shuttle and gone adrift. Even those who denounced Castle’s remark as creepy and lecherous didn’t overreact. Rather, there was the almost palpable sensation of female eye-rolling at a national level.

Castle’s casual sexism, his mini-bite chauvinism, was the kind of trite, tiring, socially nightmarish stuff that few women escape from experiencing at some point. Now you’ll have to bear with me for a moment, because I’ll have to think back (and back) to when I was still considered attractive enough for such glorious life-affirming moments.

But, wait, yes, it’s all coming back now, as if in a “humourless, earnest, no-fun-at-all” vision: the involuntary tensing as one is approached, the brief sensation of brain freeze as the bizarre, chauvinistic, inappropriate remark is made and, in response, the involuntary half (nay, quarter) giggle. This is the giggle that says: “You’re fortunate that I’m too socially inhibited/well brought up to request loudly that you move away from me with great urgency and at great speed.” (I may have paraphrased that last bit.)

In Bate’s case, she didn’t even have this option, as the remark was made unbeknown to her, from the shelter of Castle’s commentary box. A remark that was heard all over the country and that basically synthesised years of training and graft into the only thing that mattered – that Bate was better looking than the dentist responsible for Castle’s enamel and gum strength. An entire hard-won professional life reframed as “she’s a looker” – and still this microphone-wielding throwback buffoon didn’t think that he’d done anything wrong.

Of course, most women enjoy compliments. They don’t, as anti-feminist myth has it, faint, scream or cry: “Objectification most foul!” if someone observes that they look nice. However, there’s a time and a place and, call me old-fashioned, but Wimbledon coverage is not that time and place. A woman, however attractive, should be able to sit in a crowd to support her boyfriend during an important match without being appraised, which after all is just posh-speak for “ogled”. She should be able to sit there just for her man, not for all men.

Castle overstepped the mark in every important way. He wasn’t Bate’s friend (given permission to joke), he was a stranger; this was no misguided naif, he’s a 52-year-old grown man. What’s more, Castle is a professional broadcaster, who should know to keep his creepy, foolish thoughts to himself.

The Absolutely Fabulous film looks good value if you’re partial to celebrity – it has 60 cameos, including many from the world of fashion.

At the risk of incensing you with a semi-spoiler, it’s widely reported that something bad happens to a top model (stage whisper – Kate Moss) and there’s a shrine of booze and Hunter wellies (nice touch, even though one hears that Aigle is the go-to festival wellie now, darlings – do try to keep up).

Other fashion luminaries include Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexa Chung, Jourdan Dunn, Suki Waterhouse, Ozwald Boateng and Lara Stonecorrect.

The willingness of the fashion set to be lampooned has been attributed to the quality of Jennifer Saunders’s writing, but there appear to be other elements at play, too.

Not least that, contrary to popular belief, the fashion world loves a laugh at itself – or indeed anything to do with itself. It didn’t take long for Zoolander to become the fashion Spinal Tap, or for Blue Steel to enter the catwalk lexicon.

None of which should come as a surprise – who would ever accuse the fashion world of not enjoying a bit of attention?

A poll for the Institute of Customer Service (ICS) says that most British people think that service charges should no longer be added to restaurant bills and that there should be tighter regulations about tipping. Two-thirds want discretionary service removed from bills, but if there is a tip, 58% think that employees deserve the entire tip, after tax.

I used to be a waitress so I know how tips can boost mediocre pay, though thankfully I was only doing it while I was still in education. Last year, there was uproar when it was reported that certain eateries, including Pizza Express, Strada and Café Rouge, were skimming up to 8% to 10% off credit card tips, to cover “administration fees”.

However, it’s not always possible to leave cash and tipping this way ignores the contribution of other staff, though by rights those workers should be paid properly by the employer, as indeed should the waiting staff. And on and on this complicated situation goes. Moreover, tipping is a vexed matter for Britons at the best of times. Personally, perhaps because I was a waitress, perhaps because I’m afraid people aren’t paid properly, I have often ended up over-tipping in a bizarre overwrought way that suggests social anxiety rather than generosity.

Is the British confusion and awkwardness over tipping making the issue even murkier, enabling certain employers to get away with it?

Is it really so impossible to conceive of a system where discretionary service (and how it’s divided) appears on the bill, clearly explained, without ambiguity?

This is not a small issue, especially if you care about younger workers and the wider zero-hours work culture. The restaurant industry is full of younger workers and the disappearing tip is one way of exploiting and underpaying them.

Liverpool in transfer roadblock with top targets

Progress has stalled in the Reds’ summer recruitment drive, with the club having seen two bids rejected.

Liverpool has been hindered in its pursuit of three primary transfer targets, with no progress on moves for Piotr Zielinski or Ben Chilwell, while Mahmoud Dahoud is set to stay at Borussia Monchengladbach, Goal UK reports.

The Reds have seen offers for the Poland international and the Leicester left back rebuffed, while the Germany prospect will have to spend a further 12 months in the Bundesliga.

As Goal reported June 12, the Merseysiders made Udinese an offer of 11 million pounds ($15M) — including extras — for Zielinski that was batted away.

The Serie A side had accepted a similar proposal from Napoli, with reports in Italy suggesting that Camilo Zuniga was part of the exchange, but Zielinski rejected the club’s advances as he is intent on working under Jurgen Klopp.

Napoli is thought to have upped its wage package in the hopes of changing the midfielder’s mind but it is understood that he is still pushing for a switch to Anfield.

Liverpool has found negotiations with Udinese — which, like Watford, is owned by the Pozzo family — difficult despite meeting the club’s valuation for the player.

The Reds have also offered a sell-on clause over and above matching market price, but part of the pull of Napoli’s bid is that Zuniga would be loaned to Walter Mazzarri’s side.

Despite Zielinski’s desire to line up under Klopp in 2016-17, a deal cannot proceed without an agreement between Liverpool and Udinese.

The Italian club’s sporting director, Nereo Bonato, also said that “Milan are interested in Zielinski. Yet aside from making enquiries in informal talks, they have not made any concrete offers.”

Gladbach also is standing firm as it thwarts any interest in the Dahoud this summer. As revealed in April, the Premier League side was willing to offer upwards of £25 million ($33M) for the 20-year-old but has been made aware the club would need to wait a year to sign him.

Meanwhile, valuations between the Reds and Leicester City for Chilwell still remain apart.

Liverpool tabled a £7 million bid — £5 million with a further £2 million in extras — for the left back but the the Premier League champions want £10 million.

The 19-year-old only has 12 months remaining on his current deal and is yet to sign a new contract with the Foxes.

Coaches have come to accept them, even as fans still don’t completely understand them.

Certified athletic trainers work on the front lines of athletic events, providing everything from injury prevention to emergency care to clinical diagnosis.

And while seeing certified athletic trainers at the youth and high school levels is becoming more common, finances and availability make it difficult for some organizations to hire them. Those that do, though, are seeing the benefits.

Certified athletic trainers are health care professionals. They spend years in college studying their craft and work hard learning their trade, which includes assessment and care for injuries, illness, first aid and emergencies. It also encompasses human anatomy, physiology, therapeutic modalities, nutrition, rehabilitation and administration.

England seamer James Anderson is hopeful of being fit for the first Test against Pakistan later this month, despite being diagnosed with a stress fracture of his right shoulder blade last week.

The 33-year-old had been managing muscle damage in the area, but it was only when sending down his last ball in the third Test against Sri Lanka at Lord’s last month that the problem became more of an issue, as a scan revealed the extent of the damage.

The England and Wales Cricket Board did not put a time frame on his recovery, although it did confirm he would be absent for Lancashire’s Specsavers County Championship Division One clash at Nottinghamshire, which begins on Sunday.

A scan on Anderson revealed the extent of damage

He will be at Trent Bridge, however, as he continues to regain fitness with a view to taking a full part in the Pakistan series, with the first Test beginning at Lord’s on July 14.

‘I’m not playing against Notts, but I’ll be at Trent Bridge and will do some more work on my bowling. Gently to begin with, let’s see how it goes,’ he told the Daily Telegraph.

‘I’ve been doing some weights and gym sessions with no problems. So I’m optimistic that I’ll be okay for Lord’s. But it’s all a bit into new territory – it’s not a very common injury.

‘It was only discovered when I had a scan to look at some muscle damage in my right shoulder. I’d been aware of that for a little while but I felt it most when I sent down my final delivery of the Lord’s Test against Sri Lanka.’

England’s all-time leading Test wicket-taker underlined his importance to the side against Sri Lanka after taking 21 scalps at an average of 10.8.

If he were not fit in time, England would need to make at least two enforced changes to the team which completed the three-Test series against Sri Lanka at Lord’s this month – after it emerged two days ago that out-of-form batsman Nick Compton is to take a break from professional cricket.

He was honoured with Padma Bhushan Award in 2006 respecting his contribution to films. He founded Praja Rajyam political party in Andra and later in 2011 he merged it with Indian National Congress. Aamir Khan’s reaction to Irrfan Khan’s sentiments on sacrifice during Bakri-Eid is unexpected!

A few days back, Irrfan Khan created a furore when he questioned the practice of sacrificing goats during Bakri-Eid. He also had an opinion about the fast. He had said, “We have forgotten the real meaning of rituals. We have made them a tamasha (scene). Qurbani means sacrificing something close to your heart and sharing with others. Today, you buy a goat from the market for sacrifice. It is something to think about, it is a matter of common sense, we all should ask ourselves how sacrificing another life earns us any goodwill.” It’s obvious that people took offence to this quote but the actor was relentless. Today when Aamir Khan was asked to comment on this furore, not taking any sides, he chose to let the Jazbaa actor have his opinion.

Aamir said, “Religion is a personal thing, he has a right to his opinion.” Clearly, without giving anything from his side, he has chosen to let Irrfan carry on with what he is saying. This could be because last time Aamir spoke his concerns, he was termed a traitor and God knows what. Guess he wanted to play it safe. He makes sense as well. It is a personal thing and people are allowed to form their own opinions around it. When he voiced his fear of staying in India, he was hounded everywhere. He had said, “As an individual, as part of this country as a citizen, we read in the papers what is happening, we see it on the news and certainly, I have been alarmed. I can’t deny. I have been alarmed by a number of incidents.” And then he went on to add, “When I chat with Kiran at home, she says ‘Should we move out of India?’ That’s a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make. She fears for her child.” This statement has haunted him for days together.

Well, we wonder what Irrfan has to say to this.

Fan wanted for 'scary' yellow mascot job

Football bosses are looking to recruit a brave fan to take on the role of “scary” yellow mascot Kingsley.

The spiky sunburst character, who cheers on Scottish Premiership club Partick Thistle, caused a global stir when he was unveiled last year.

He was likened to “a demented sun god” and described as “terrifying”.

Club officials said the successful candidate should be able to whip crowds into a frenzy, pose for selfies and not mind being dragged in all directions.

A willingness to work at weekends is also listed as a requirement.

Jay McGhee, who wore the costume previously, has retired as he is about to become a father.

Mr McGhee told BBC Radio Scotland that any candidates to replace him would need to excel at conveying messages with just their hands and be “good with duct tape”, to help keep the costume maintained.

But he said the character was really not as frightening as many people assume when they see pictures of Kingsley.

“I think it does look angry in photographs but when you see it in person it’s completely different – it’s seems like a happy face,” he said.

“I knew it would be big when I first saw the costume, but nowhere near as big as it has been.”

The club said it was now looking for someone else to step into the suit of the “mono-browed, dentist-deprived ray of sunshine that is Kingsley”, who was designed by 2013 Turner Prize nominee David Shrigley.

Duties for the successful candidate – who must be between 5ft 8in and 6ft 2in tall – would include being the main focus at games, rubbing shoulders with celebrities and heading up an army of Jags fans.

Ian Maxwell, Partick Thistle managing director, said: “We’ve decided to turn to our fans to find our next Kingsley.

“We want to see passion, creative thinking and ideas that are a bit out there, just like the mascot should be.

“We have exciting plans for Kingsley next season that we hope will help keep the momentum around the club moving in the right direction.

“Kingsley is the face of the club and we can’t wait to find the right person to make sure he remains the centre of attention, not only at Partick Thistle but also within Scottish football as a whole.”

Those interested in the role can apply by submitting a short video, no more than two minutes long, along with a CV and covering letter.

The winner will be unveiled in the run-up to the club’s opening home fixture in the Betfred Cup against Queen of the South on July 23.

Jordan Clark has dug one in and, in the process of trying to get his bat out the way, it’s caught the splice (almost like the worst upper cut you’ve ever seen) and ballooned straight up the man at gullyish backward point. Odd. Very odd. Much-needed for Lancashire though, as Taylor had shared 74 with Lumb, who is joined by Samit with nine balls to bowl before tea. Notts still 66 behind, and the trap is set for the short ball.

Somewhat ignominiously Somerset have been bowled out for 128, 231 runs adrift of Pakistan’s total. Unsurprisingly the follow-on has not been enforced. All the bowlers prospered but the headlines will belong to Mohammad Amir, who finished with 3-36. He did look the best of a pretty damn good bunch. The England batsmen, catching the highlights, will have noted that Amir is still swinging the ball at speed.

Mind you, the Pakistan bowlers were scarcely tested by a callow Somerset line-up. Only James Hildreth could cope. He was unbeaten on 47 when the last wicket fell. Other than being dropped on 13 he demonstrated why he has been scoring so many runs over the last two years. He is more consistent now and a better judge of what to leave and what to play around his off-stump. As usual he gleaned runs aplenty to point. He deserves some sympathy. With more support he might have delivered an eye-catching score.

I spent the first half-hour after lunch enjoying Trent Bridge from the top deck, which was lovely.

In that time, though, Lancs have clawed their way back into the game, prizing out two set batsmen. First, Libby failed to add to his morning session 54, just prodding half-forward at Wagner, then Greg Smith was adjudged lbw – harshly I think but I need another look – a couple of balls after a beautiful pulled four off Wagner. He made 30, and Notts are now 137-3, with a couple of Zimbabweans, Jarvis and Brendan Taylor, sparring.

It took Middlesex until deep into extra time in the first session to finish off the Yorkshire innings, but which time the last two wickets had added 72 and the total had progressed to 406 before Toby Roland-Jones finished things with the wicket of Andy Hodd. The wicketkeeper had made an energetic 37, which followed on from Gary Balances 132, an innings that underpinned Yorkshire’s total. The Middlesex seamers lost a little discipline in pursuit of the final wickets and the tail, shepherded by Hodd, was able to frustrate, as sometimes they can. The days of the heavy roller chugging into life when number eleven makes his way to the crease are long gone. These days there would be a danger of running out of petrol.

For a brief while, as James Franklin dismissed Ballance- a checked shot and gentle return catch- and Rafiq in the same over, it looked as if Middlesex would emerge in good heart given the overnight situation. Instead Hodd played busily, and Steve Patterson swung the bat heartily at Steve Finn. Many years ago, Jon Agnew, when facing Wayne Daniel, took up batting station so far outside leg stump that the bowler became confused. “ Do I try and hit him, or hit the stumps?”.

A fair question that would have required considerable change in direction. Agnew’s justification to Raymond Illingworth, his captain, that it was his duty as a bowler not to get injured did not cut the mustard. Anyway back to Patterson, who adopted the Agnew technique and, finally, was bowled by Finn for his pains. Jack Brooks promptly hooked Finn into the pavilion, sending the patrons scattering, and he and Hodd added 35 for the last wicket before Hodd tickled a gentle catch to the solitary slip.

The meat of the day comes now though. There is enough in the pitch to encourage good bowling and Middlesex could have their work cut out if the Yorkshire seamers get it right.

So Notts are going well at lunch here. They lost Mullaney, ten runs later than they should have, and Parkinson – who dropped him – has had a wee bowl. Greg Smith looked more comfortable than when he first came in, while Jake Libby reached a decent half-century not long before the break. It’s 120 for one.

In other news, Michael Lumb just received his county cap, and Jimmy Anderson is having another bowl. Very short run, very gentle, but a bowl nonetheless.

A glance around the grounds reveals that Keith Barker – with bat nd ball – has Surrey on’t ropes at Guildford, while Hampshire plough on remorselessly against Durham.

In Div Two, Tom Westley is doing what Tom Westley does, while Ned Eckersley is back in the runs for Leicestershire, which is good to see. They are all out for 407 against Worcestershire. Sussex are inching towards parity and will look to build a lead on the third day against Glamorgan.

Mohammed Amir’s morning just got better. He was happier when bowling than batting. Out he came in his pads after Younis Khan had been dismissed for 104. His first ball he received thudded into the pads; it looked a very good shout for lbw but there was the outstretched arm of the umpire. Amir saved by a no-ball from Josh Davey. The next delivery was just outside off-stump; Amir wafted and was caught behind.

However Amir’s fortunes changed when he had the ball in his hand. When he was announced by the PA man there was warm applause from a sparse crowd but what else would you expect at Taunton? His first ball was legal and Trescothick blocked it; then there were two boundaries to third man. But in his third over Amir propelled a beauty to Trescothick, which swung and caught the edge of the bat. Out went the arms in celebration. Later, when bowling around the wicket he sent the off-stump of Adam Hose cartwheeling towards the River Tone.

This was an impressive opening spell, 2-16 from 6 overs. Amir looks no different to six years ago except that he has disposed of the mop of black hair. His action is fluid; his pace is high and the ball is swinging. He offers a threat beyond anything posed by the Sri Lankan pacemen. After Pakistan’s compulsory declaration at 359-8, Somerset are 56-3 at lunch, which represents a bit of a recovery. The county needs their experienced men to hang on. The belligerent skipper, Peter Trego, has 23, James Hildreth 9.

England selector James Whittaker is here to watch, but you sense Jimmy Anderson is what he’s after, given the injured Lanky seamer was having another gentle bowl before play began.

I’m in a mighty fine mood because I started my day by doing something I never do in London: going to the driving range. I hit 60 balls, some very good, some very bad, but made one fatal error. I left my glove in the car, and could not be bothered to go back and get it once I’d realised. Thumping blister developing on my left index finger. Your correspondent, it’s fair to say, is an idiot.

And that’s the end of the innings; Tahir’s top-spinner doing for Parkinson (lbw), and Lancashire are all out for 276. Now the real test for Nottinghamshire’s beleaguered batsmen…

Belting morning in Scarborough, just perfect for a walk along Marine Drive, round the headland, to the ground. Will do the whelks tomorrow (whelks are my sea snail of choice) but sadly not the donkey ride which stresses no adults. At £2.50 a go it is the price of a flat white anyway, or a nice cuppa as they call it here. It has been a real retro trip so far, and my room, in the hotel we would stay at when playing here, has lovingly kept the same decor in the rooms. A fellow playing Creedence Clearwater cover songs in the hotel lounge to an audience of pensioners completed the picture( although they of course would remember Proud Mary first time around, so not so daft).

Thanks to Gary Ballance and Tim Bresnan, Yorkshire dug themselves out of a hole against Middlesex and they will resume today on 291 for five, in reasonable shape. Im not sure Middlesex bowled that well to Ballance, feeding his shots off his legs and latterly his cut. Round the wicket, and shaping away, especially Tim Murtagh, to a fullish length is not a bad ploy.

Grey but dry at Taunton. Younis Khan, 99 not out overnight, expressed the view last night that he would like to bat for another half a day. But he can’t. The regulations of tour matches of three days duration insist that the first innings of each side cannot exceed 100 overs. So Younis has eight overs to reach his century.

Better news for the snappers is that Mohammed Amir will soon be in action with the sort of cloud cover that pace bowlers crave. Pakistan have been out and about early training hard. I’m reminded what a multinational set-up there is among the backroom boys. Alongside new head coach, Mickey Arthur, is Steve Rixon, the old Aussie keeper, who was once in charge of New Zealand, and Grant Flower, Andy’s younger brother. Mushtaq Ahmed, with his wealth of English experience, is on board as well. They have all been in the country for over a fortnight with their training camp based at the Ageas Bowl. Could this be the best-prepared Pakistan team ever?

Somerset have three players, who may play their first first-class innings for the county today: Adam Hose, who has featured in one-day cricket; Tim Rouse, who has come through the system (though he was born in Yorkshire) and Dom Bess. They might like to see a bit of sunshine.

Today’s paper, as it happens, is jam-packed with yesterday’s particularly lovely cricket – two county reports, one tour match report, and a report on England women continuing their rollicking form, too. Go on, buy it. You know you want to.
