Ulkuthu starring Dinesh and Nandhitha in the lead depicts the life of a coastal village in the South. Shot in Nagercoil and the surrounding villages, Ulkuthu has Bala Saravanan, John Vijay, Chaya Singh, Sriman, Pandiya Nadu fame Sharath, Dilip Subburayan, and noted chef Damodaran in the cast.
Justin Prabhakaran scores the music while K L Praveen is ediot-in-charge and cinematography by Pramod. Produced by Kenanya Films and Directed by Caarthik Raju, Ulkuthu is slated for a mid-August release. Abinesh Elangovan of Abi and Abi Pictures, has acquired the theatrical rights of Ulkuthu.
