Television queen Divyanka Tripathi is going to tie the knot with fiancé Vivek Dahiya on July 8. After keeping their relationship under wraps for a long time, Divyanka got engaged to her Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star Vivek earlier this year in a private ceremony.

 Venue

The wedding will be a private affair and would take place in July. Divyanka’s family wanted it to be a traditional wedding where the groom comes to the bride’s hometown to take away her dulhania. Vivek had told in an interview that the Baarat will reach Bhopal (Divyanka’s hometown) on July 7 for the sangeet and wedding which is on the next day. Then the couple would leave for Chandigarh on July 10 for their reception. Divyanka and Vivek also plan to host a reception for their friends from the TV industry in Mumbai later as they do not plan to invite more than 100 or 150 people as they want it to be a close-knit affair.

Costumes

Vivek Dahiya had said earlier that he is not very well versed with fashion and that he will hire a men’s designer for his wedding outfit. It is being said that Divyanka’s lehenga would come from Vivek’s place as it’s a tradition in their culture. Divyanka’s parents and in-laws are taking care of their wedding trousseaus while Vivek and Divyanka just give approvals on Whatsapp since they are busy with work. Divyanka might wear red, pink or gold while Vivek would just match his tie or pocket-square with her chosen hue.

Shopping

As the two are busy with their respective shows, their parents and Divyanka’s sister (who’s in Bangalore) have taken the responsibility to make all the arrangements. The actors barely get time from their tight schedules to go for shopping. Whenever they meet, all they discuss about is marriage preparations, designers, venue bookings etc. In spite of being so busy Divyanka managed to sneak out from her sets for some jewellery shopping. Both the actors family are very co-operative and don’t want the actors to stress. They have just asked them to get free before one week of their wedding.

Wedding Preparations

Divyanka and Vivek are trying to wrap up as much shoot as possible before they take the leave for their wedding.  Divyanka is working overtime to shoot for Yeh Hai Mohabbatein while Vivek is shooting for his new serial Kavach and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein simultaneously. The production house has allowed Vivek to take a leave only once in 10 days for shopping.

 Honeymoon

Vivek and Divyanka will take off their honeymoon once they’ll be done with all the wedding events. Vivek has kept the honeymoon destination a surprise for his wife. Considering, the couple had celebrated their first Valentine’s Day in Sri Lanka, it can be said that their honeymoon destination will be nothing less than exotic.
