No remuneration for Suriya

In order to offset the losses incurred in ‘24’, actor Suriya will not be getting any remuneration for his soon to be started action thriller with Kabali and Madras director Ranjith.

Made at a budget of 75 crores, 24 is said to have made only 22 crores share in Tamil Nadu and even if the producers add the box office figures in rest of the areas, they met with a huge loss of 25 crores.

Recently, 24’s distributor Gnanavel has conveyed about this issue to Suriya and the actor has magnanimously told him that he will act without any remuneration for Ranjith’s film.
